FND in the Workplace (UK)

Webinars & Workshops

Hi, I'm Kerryn

My own life journey has been deeply intertwined with FND. I've experienced it both as an employee and as an HR professional with over 20 years of experience. Observing the personal journeys of many in this community has fostered profound respect, admiration, understanding and compassion for those navigating life with FND.

My story, like yours, has had its ups and downs and changed as regularly as my symptoms. I remember the daunting times – the fatigue, reliance on wheelchairs and adaptations, and brain fog! The fear that came with the sudden onset of symptoms. Questions around sick pay, absence, job loss, and relentless questions about my capability. I asked myself, "What could I do? What would people think?"

As a HR Professional and Wellbeing Coach, I offer a safe, non-judgmental space to explore your FND journey in the workplace. I can take you through your legal rights, flexible working, sickness absence, reasonable adjustments, capability proceedings and exploring new work options, all one step at a time. I also provide 1:1 guidance and support through the Government's Access to Work scheme.

“I recently took part in the Workplace Rights Workshop. I found this to be extremely informative and beneficial. I feel in a much better position, particularly in terms of understanding Government Legislation etc and how this relates to FND.

I feel that anyone with FND would really benefit from the session, whether currently in work or in preparation for returning after absence.
Massive thank you, Kerryn."
