Pathways for FND

Navigating your way through the complex journey of FND
A Maze of rock pathways

Many aspects of being diagnosed with Functional Neurological Disorder (FND) are complex, confusing and overwhelming.

Do I really have FND?

What exactly is this condition?

Where do I find information and support?

What treatment is available?

How can I cope? My world just changed.

So many questions and thoughts tumble through our heads. Remember, the condition is real, you can improve and you are not alone.

Take your first steps closer to understanding and living well with FND by registering for the next intake or booking support below.

3 Weekly 1 hour sessions, Online, Course price £35

When FND is first mentioned, we can feel a rush of emotions and overwhelm; we are in a period of free fall and uncertainty.

Begin your journey to understanding and navigating life with FND in our "Starting Steps" course where information across the sector is pulled together into one central place.

Gain an understanding of what FND is, what healthcare resources may be available, an exploration of your own current needs, what support networks are potentially available, and start to empower yourself with self-care strategies and a personalised FND starting plan.

Connect with other people in the FND community who understand and join me in taking these initial steps towards a clearer pathway forward, feeling more confident, informed and empowered.

Online Programme coming soon

Learning to manage and find ways of coping with FND is essential to gaining a sense of stability. As we start to put in place the necessary system of healthcare and support to meet our immediate needs, it's the practical everyday solutions that really start to make a difference.

Online and self-directed, this programme takes you through the various different aspects of our lives impacted by FND at a pace that is right for you.

This Toolkit is jam packed with practical ideas, strategies, tips and tools to help make those everyday experiences just a little bit easier for you. From navigating medical appointments and being safe when out and about, managing seizures, mobility issues, communication and memory, right through to daily self-care, this course provides you with a toolkit full of practical support and resources to tap into any time.

This Toolkit provides a great general platform for stability and practical everyday support. It leaves you feeling resourced and empowered with an enabled mindset to go forward.

1 hour Workshop, Online, Workshop Price £12

Working with healthcare professionals around FND can have variable responses and levels of support. In an ideal world, all healthcare professionals would have an understanding of FND, but that's sadly not the reality. That's when we need to be able to advocate for our own needs.

Often, our own understanding alongside our symptoms make it challenging for us to advocate for ourselves. That's where this workshop really helps to bring it all together.

This workshop is crammed full of signposting to resources, summary materials to help support your needs, with strategies, tips, templates and techniques for effective communication.  You will feel more confident and resourced to express and advocate for your needs, and hopefully cultivate more FND aware companions along the way.
